Size & Materials

Approximate size (without “tails”)

  • Green: 6” x 5.5”
  • Yellow: 7” x 6”
  • Stiff leather 5-5.5 oz and heavier (2 mm and up). If you use veg tan you can apply some beautiful dyeing and even give them some more interesting shape after assembling using wet moulding technique. I would suggest using veg tan anyway because of its better structure and ability to keep the shape.

Hardware & Tools

None, unless you want to embellish them with something 🙂

  • Knife or scissors
  • Stitching irons (This pattern is designed for 4 mm stitching irons.)
  • Maul or mallet
  • Pair of harness needles
  • Waxed thread
