Description: I made this for our neighbors in honor of their new grandaughter. The Hebrew lettering spells Mazal Tov (congratulations, or good luck, depending on context). The stylized Jerusalem at the bottom is a reminder to set Jerusalem above our greatest joy. Leather dyes and finishes are hard to come by here, so the coloring was accomplished with sunlight and oil, with water to burnish the edges.
