Starting as a graphic designer in 1998, Marina Karlova has been designing for most of her life. She was born in Novosibirsk, Russia, in 1981 and lived in several countries before returning to Russia in 2021. Unforeseen events led to business loss, and Marina, with her chihuahua Bonny, left everything behind and relocated to Tbilisi, Georgia, in 2022. Despite challenges, Bonny inspired Marina to start sewing. She now works at Karlova Design and has received many top design awards.
This pattern is for those who want to try something different in good ole saddle bag construction. These gussets are not just pretty, but they are strong and nicely structured overall.
